Missing

My brain...
if you see it somewhere would you let me know.
Seriously. ☺
So not directly related to losing my brain, but sort of.
I was in big trouble yesterday morning when I told Aidan it was his birthday.
"Present?!" Aidan replied.
When I explained that we didn't have his birthday gift yet, he was one sad little boy.
Whoops.

After Cary got home from work we asked Aidan where and what he wanted to eat and then we stopped at the store so he could pick out his gift.

He wanted everything, of course.
But he settled for this guitar.
Bets on how long it takes before it breaks? ☺
Ha ha.

We didn't have a party for him, so just in case you were wondering why you weren't invited.
Man, second year in a row...
Next year we're going to have to do something BIG for this kid!

Greg and Lois spent the night at our house on Saturday night, so they gave Aidan his birthday present early.

Aidan was excited about the Elmo card...

He really loves this puzzle and firetruck set up.
Ella likes it too.
Fun times, fun times.
So here are a couple of videos of Aidan singing and playing his new guitar. It was reminding me of my college days when all the guys thought it was cool to play guitar and sing, but they weren't really all that good at it. Much cuter watching a 3 year old! ☺

Three!

It's Aidan's birthday today!

So he wore his favorite green shirt
He'd probably wear it everyday if he were allowed.
Hmmm....let's see. Aidan is probably your typical 3 year old boy.
He loves music, singing, reading, playing ball, coloring, painting, being outside, playing in the dirt, and playing with other kids
I try to convince him that he likes playing with his little sister. ☺
And he does, MOST of the time.

Naturally, he likes to watch tv and his favorite show right now is "Curious George", but he hates talking on the phone.

Aidan still has his shy moments and it can take him a while to warm up to new people.

He still doesn't like having his picture taken, so the fact that I got these is somewhat of a miracle. ☺

He's a sweet and polite boy, usually remembering to say "thank you", "please", and "you're welcome."
And "no thanks" when he is offered food he doesn't want to eat, or asked to go to bed.

Love you, bud!
