Missing

My brain...
if you see it somewhere would you let me know.
Seriously. ☺
So not directly related to losing my brain, but sort of.
I was in big trouble yesterday morning when I told Aidan it was his birthday.
"Present?!" Aidan replied.
When I explained that we didn't have his birthday gift yet, he was one sad little boy.
Whoops.

After Cary got home from work we asked Aidan where and what he wanted to eat and then we stopped at the store so he could pick out his gift.

He wanted everything, of course.
But he settled for this guitar.
Bets on how long it takes before it breaks? ☺
Ha ha.

We didn't have a party for him, so just in case you were wondering why you weren't invited.
Man, second year in a row...
Next year we're going to have to do something BIG for this kid!

Greg and Lois spent the night at our house on Saturday night, so they gave Aidan his birthday present early.

Aidan was excited about the Elmo card...

He really loves this puzzle and firetruck set up.
Ella likes it too.
Fun times, fun times.
So here are a couple of videos of Aidan singing and playing his new guitar. It was reminding me of my college days when all the guys thought it was cool to play guitar and sing, but they weren't really all that good at it. Much cuter watching a 3 year old! ☺

That is the funniest thing I've seen in ages. And he's at least as good as some of the guys I knew in college that thought they could play. His singing, on the other hand, is much better. :)

That is so freakin' cute. I love the "good job, Mom" at the end of the ABC's. And no songs tonight...lol Hope to see the kids this weekend!

Annette,

I thought that was funny how you started everything with Missing and then I went on to read, My brain. My mind was suddenly flooded with memories of my own absent mindedness during pregnancy and soon after. I often wondered where it went and would it ever return? I can be forgetful of many things naturally but during that time I think it was completely absent. Without Bob I think I would have gone missing to where ever my brain took off to;o)

Adain is adorable! What a blessed Mom you are to have such lovely children.

I love the gift that he chose for his birthday. I bet his Grandma Lois is proud!

Valerie,
You know it! ☺ I'm forgetting everything, constantly. I took my camera to a BBQ the other night only to realize that I had left the camera battery in the charger at home. I thought I had grabbed it, but instead I had changed my lens.
I won't even get started on the "jobs" I have that I majorly suck at right now! lol.

I wonder why our bodies to this to us when we are pregnant. It is not fun. How was Olive Garden! I love that place.
