First day of school 2017

School started August 16 for the regular schools.

Aidan - 5th grade

Britton - 1st grade

Ella - 3rd grade

Clara - last year of preschool

(She didn't start until around the end of September. We had a cold spell and the building didn't have heat for awhile)

Going back to August...

I mentioned earlier that for Aidan's birthday, Cary took him in to work one day and then after they visited the Hill Air Force Base Museum (Aidan had been wanting to go back). So here are some pictures that Cary took. 😊

The end of September, Aidan's class had a hike scheduled to see the Bristlecones in GBNP,  and I'd never been on that hike, so I planned to tag along.

It was a great hike, and the weather cooperated even though it looked like we were going to get rained/ snowed on a few times.

I didn't plan very well, so my phone battery died by the time we ate lunch, so I don't actually have that many pictures. ☺

Back to School 2016

Back to school! 

Which means "back to school night" at Garrison Elementary... and Mrs. Phillips likes to make it a family night, so all the kids were there...which was good, because Cary was out of town and I needed to bring all the kids. ;)

The other kids were running all over the place, Clara stayed close.

"Look, mom, I can touch the ceiling!"

The next morning, up bright and early to meet the bus!
