We headed to the zoo again yesterday morning for a few hours.
We were there when it opened so there weren't very many people and the air was still somewhat cool.
Melanie and Heather both have season passes to the zoo, that's why we keep going there.

Jaydon are looking like twins these days.
The kids really like the zoo's playground.
One of the zoo's main attractions right now is the baby giraffe that was just born.
Don't be
deceived, that baby is about 6 ft tall and 130 lbs. So cute though. There is also a baby Snow Leopard, but we weren't able to see it today. The pregnant elephant that I posted a picture of previously, is due any day now and all the zookeepers are anxious and excited.
Here is an article in the Tribune about why they are so anxious, but excited. I thought it was interesting anyway. :-)
