We started playing around with different arrangements and none of them were working so this led to a major cleaning/ disposal of "stuff".
I ended up on a cleaning and organizing binge, and we took 2 loads of stuff to the DI (second hand store), and I sold some stuff on KSL classifieds. (Basically Utah's own Craigslist)
Ahhh....it feels so good to get rid of stuff! So cleansing.
Cary won the ottoman war and the big one got relegated to the corner where it still houses Aidan's toys. Here is a picture of our living room after I got everything back together and decent enough to take a picture of.
It only took me two weeks to get to this point. :-) SEE, I told you everything takes longer now that I have two kids and one of them causes destruction in his path and the other one thinks I need to hold her right now.
In the end it was discovered that there is/ was a reason that certain furniture items were where they are for a reason. :-)
Alas, things have already changed since I took this picture, but more on that later...

I so need to do this in my room... I have too much crap. Unfortunately, I can't seem to come up with a different arrangement (or the motivation). :)
It is a lot of work! It just makes me laugh that it used to be something I could do in a couple hours and have everything put in it's place. Not so much anymore....:-)
