Annual Church Picnic 2012

Hmmm...I've been feeling much better the past few days (relief from morning sickness and such) you may see an increase of photos and posts. ☺

This weekend we had our annual Summer picnic up on the mountain. It was overcast and threatening to rain, but really the weather was perfect.

I had to put this one in because Margo was waving at the end.

 We had Janille take a couple pictures of our family before we left. (it was starting to rain)

Aidan turns 5!

 Aidan turned five, and his request was a red bike, and a pizza party with chocolate-chocolate chip cookies. So we got him a red bike and we let him see it early since he's not friends with change.

 The bike is a teensy bit too big, but he can still ride it and more importantly, he'll still be able to ride it for awhile.

 I used to be an organized person, I can no longer say that and have it be true. Thankfully my family must be used to this, so I say, "we're having a party" a few hours ahead of time and everyone still comes. :) I strive to be better next year especially since Aidan is going to want all his friends there and they will need a little more notice. Mom and Sharon showed up to help me make pizza, breadsticks, roasted zucchini, and Kenneth made the requested cookies.

After we were done eating food, some of us went outside to enjoy the lightning show. Sharon and Janille got some cool shots.

We hung out and watched the storm for awhile, but then it started coming towards us and soon started raining (hard!) so the party broke up and everyone went home.
