First Day of Kindergarten and Second Grade

School started August 13th this year. Seems kind of early, but the kids don't seem to mind, and I didn't mind. ;) 

I like how we timed it perfectly that the bus was driving by in the background. lol.

Zeke requested that I take his photo as well. ;)

Back to School Night

Back to school night! 

Ella doesn't seem very happy, eh? ;) 

She was SO excited for school!

There was a big storm that night, and the sky was too cool so I had to keep stopping to take pictures. The kids were thrilled about that, but they are getting used to it. ☺

Aidan is Seven!

We combined Aidan and Alyshia's party together again (and David and Janilles?!) since it's just easier when there are so many birthdays and so many things going on. 

We had planned to meet at the reservoir for a few hours and then meet at Janille and Tom's house afterwards for a BBQ. I don't remember what was going on that day, but we ended up being really late to go swimming, so by the time we got there, most people had already left. I felt bad, but the kids did enjoy the time that we did spend there, although it would randomly storm on us. ☺

We had a great time later at the BBQ, it was the perfect night.
