This was a crazy day, we went for a walk fully expecting the usual solitude and quietness, and we had to watch out for big trucks carrying gravel, water trucks, someone stopped us and asked for directions, and then three army helicoptors flew right over us. Not the typical morning in the middle of nowhere! ☺

Young Author's Fair 2014

Judging from the quality of these pictures, I seem to have forgotten how to use my camera. ☺ 

The kids work on writing a story in class and then turn it into a book and then they are able to share it with the public and read everyone else's story.

Passover Seder 2014

We made it through another Seder. ;)

With the Seder we start eating at a time that my kids are normally going to bed, so it can be kind of trying to participate, keep kids still and quiet, and keep them from melting down. We made it and I even got a few pictures.

Yard Work

What our yard looked like a month ago.

It seems like we got burned out on house projects so we weren't getting much done inside and then we moved on to some outdoor projects for a couple of weeks. 

 Cary took out the trees and evergreen bushes that were right next to the house out. We prefer to leave a few feet between plantings and the house for maintenance and root reasons. This day we were working on taking out the hedge. Greg ended up coming over and he was a very big help to Cary.

After Ryan and Tara's wedding we had a fun weekend visiting and hanging out with family, but sadly I didn't take very many pictures.

Special thanks to Josh and Kiera for letting our crazy crew stay at their house for multiple nights. ☺
