Sittin' in a drawer...

When we moved, there was a lot of "stuff" we couldn't fit in our new-to-us-house. Aidan's dresser being one of those things we could no longer fit, we took the drawers out, put casters on the bottom and turned them into under bed storage for both Aidan's bed, and Ella's.

They hold quite a bit and are very convienient. Britton apparently thinks they are fun too.

Aidan and I playing frisbee. The weather has been so awesome this week that we've just had to get and enjoy the warm afternoons. Unfortunately, I've been dreadful about taking pictures. ☺

Master Bedroom - Before and After

This is where we're at so far, in this room.

What this room looked like when we first walked through.

Three different choices of carpet. ☺
all cleaned out (mostly)
I'm forgetting all the details already, but I know we brought the wall in where the closet is, by almost two feet (four feet?). We made this room smaller so that the kitchen/ living room area would have a little bit more room.
We had to put Cary's keyboard in here and I still haven't figured out what's going on the walls (besides the mirrors).

The ironing station

Love the closet. So does Britton.

Before
We brought the bathroom into the room about 12? 18? inches or so just to give a little more space. I'm really happy with the way it turned out. Gave us just enough more space in the bathroom, but doesn't feel like we gave up space in the bedroom.

Sunday Walk

This was from last Sunday, I'm a little behind on blogging.  I had more important things to do, like...Cary getting me hooked on Downton Abbey, so I spent two days catching up on past episodes when I could. I've got a few other side projects going on that are sucking up my time and emotional energy too. ☺
It's all good.
Anyway, back to this walk we went on.
We stopped at the reservior and threw rocks at the ice,
and then Cary got out there on the ice and I was pretty sure he was going to go under, but he never did. ☺ Of course, if he did break through the ice, I don't think it would be very deep right now, so it would mostly be funny and not dangerous.

I had some pictures of Sharon and Kenneth making funny faces at Britton.....very funny faces. I figured I wouldn't live if I posted them so they aren't here.

Blessing Photos (Guess that'll be my title when I can't think of anything else)

Ella displaying her lovely fashion sense again.

We took Britton to the doctor a little while ago, and it turns out he has situational asthma like Aidan. (or Reactive Airway Disease as it is sometimes called) ☺ He had to go on antibiotics to treat a sinus infection and this is how we kept track of his dosages. (Thank you again, Pinterest!)
Can't have too many sunset photos....or can you?
Britty boy is 11 months old now and he's walking. (sniffle, sniffle)
And he still has his mom wrapped around his little finger. ☺

Sunflares got in the way of that picture.
See what I mean about the sunsets?!

Anita's Birthday

It was my aunt Anita's birthday earlier this week. (Well, it was a lot of people's birthday this week) ☺ But for the purposes of this post we'll focus on Anita. Mom had invited Anita and her family over for dessert and Cary was gone, so the kids and I crashed the party...just kidding, that's only partly true.
While we were waiting for John and Anita to get there, the kids entertained grandma and grandpa.

Once everyone had arrived, we ate rhubarb crisp and ice cream.

Then Anita opened her gift from mom that was a photo book with pictures from all their "sister trips" that they've been going on.

The End. ☺
