Aidan is 4 months old as of yesterday, so he had a doctor appointment today. Our pediatrician is back after having surgery for prostate cancer, he didn't see Aidan at his 2 month appointment so he didn't recognize Aidan today because he's changed so much. Anyway, Aidan is 11 lbs 6 oz, and almost 24 inches long........so he's slowly catching up. He had to have 4 shots today and blood drawn.....poor kid. Good thing Cary was there or I'm pretty sure I would have been crying right along with Aidan. Here are some pictures from a more successful photo shoot in honor of him being 4 months.

Yay For New Furniture
The futon is finally gone! Cary and I got new furniture last week....something new for Aidan to spit up all over. Oh well, who wants furniture to last forever anyway....? It's a little more crowded now, but I keep telling myself that it's cozy, not crowded.

Thanksgiving came and left, Ken and I had a fun time decorating tables.

We attempted a photo shoot.

Happy Sukkot
We went to EskDale for Sukkot weekend and got Aidan blessed. I was there a few days earlier to spend time with family. On our way back to Salt Lake last night the van decided it was going to have problems so we had to find another ride home and then this morning, Cary got told that his program at Boeing was being cut, so we're waiting to hear what's going to happen. Not sure what we're supposed to be learning from all this..........!?!

More Photos
Sorry people, if you don't like pictures then you'll just have to try and ignore my posts for awhile. We have aunts and uncles that are having Aidan withdrawls.
I just wanted to compare size pictures. Here he is at 2.5 wks, 6 wks, and 2 months.
"We only make fun of you because we think you're cute!"

Homecoming Day
On Friday the doctor said there might be a chance that Aidan could come home on Monday, but not to get our hopes up. So this morning at 8:00 he called and said that Aidan could come home. Apparently it's pretty unusual that a baby his size or his age gets to go home, so we're pretty blessed. (He would have been 35 weeks today) He's been home since noon and has pretty much slept the whole time and that's probably what he'll do for the next couple of weeks. They told us to expect him to sleep for 20 hours a day. Nice, huh?

A Few Pictures
I haven't been as good about taking pictures as I should be. Aidan is a week old today...and an interesting week and a half it's been.
His cheek is all red because he keeps pulling his feeding tube out of his nose along with the tape. He's developed a reputation for pulling that out and for not holding his IV's, but thankfully he's done with IV's for now.
Life has been back and forth trips to the hospital, very exciting. What a stinker.
We can't wait until he can come home!
