October (came and went)

Unfortunately, I've been taking pictures with Snapchat and forgetting to save them and/or taking pictures with just the phone camera. ☺
Abby and Sienna visited

We spent a lot of October (and July, August, and September) ;) working on our office.

The finish line was up ahead...

We spent a day up at Hidden Canyon with Donnie and Christina (family and friends). Cary played paintball with the guys, the kids were wild, and the ladies processed apples for applesauce. :D It was a really pretty day so I walked around and got a few pictures of the scenery, but not any of the people...go figure. :)

The fall colors did not last very long this year

We had a cold snap and a week or two of wind that took care of all the pretty leaves. :(

We had a crazy amount of apples this year!
Crazy!
Lots of days were set aside starting in August for processing apples. We did applesauce, sliced and froze, and a day of making apple juice.
We ended up with 735-800 quarts of applesauce, (depending on who you ask), hundreds of cups of frozen apples, and 42 gallons of apple juice.

This was all off of one tree in Kenneth's backyard. Mom had picked 4-5 buckets previously too.

The kids got lots of practice washing apples.

Sukkot was pretty late this year, the 3rd weekend in October. We were worried it would be cold, but it ended up being nice weather, although windy some days. We meet in the tent everynight of Sukkot and the kids figured out pretty quick they enjoy the snack part.

Ella was reading the Frozen book to Clara one afternoon, but she didn't want me to take a picture, so I had to get creative so that she didn't know I was taking one.

We started moving into the office!
Happy day!

Clara drew a picture of our family. ♥

Now that Aidan has braces we are making more trips to Cedar City, and this month it landed during the kids Fall Break, (no school) The girls were getting some daddy hugs while were eating.

A favorite sight of mine...walking in and everyone is reading quietly...

Taking the tent down. This picture is deceiving, because it was SO windy that day, and all that dirt on the sidewalk was dirt that had blown in, in just a few days.

Ella had dressed up as Elsa for her school Halloween party, but she also got a package in the mail, so we had to send a picture to show dad.
