Bristlecone Hike with Aidan's class.

The end of September, Aidan's class had a hike scheduled to see the Bristlecones in GBNP,  and I'd never been on that hike, so I planned to tag along.

It was a great hike, and the weather cooperated even though it looked like we were going to get rained/ snowed on a few times.

I didn't plan very well, so my phone battery died by the time we ate lunch, so I don't actually have that many pictures. ☺

 We are predictable.

We had actually planned the weekend before and apparently that would have been the prime "fall color" time, because it ended up snowing and being really cold the next day, and so by the time we got up there the weekend after, a lot of the leaves were gone, and it was so freaking cold up at the Wheeler campground where we had planned on taking pictures.

Sharon worked her magic on our family pictures in a few short minutes, since it was too cold!

This was the extent that Cary was letting me take scenery pictures. ☺

Another one down...

All of the kids rode all the miles. (16 for Aidan, 8 for Ella and Britton)

Britton informed Cary that he was a big kid now and didn't need Cary to ride along this time. ☺

We dropped off Aidan's bike and watched the Baker school take off.

Then drove to Garrison to drop off Ella and Britton's bikes and watch them take off. Then Clara and I helped with getting the lunch ready. (again) ☺
