June is always so incredibly busy, and two weeks before we were supposed to have guests stay at our house, we figured we should probably finish the boys room...that we started ripping apart in February. ;)
Surprisingly enough, I didn't even want to work on it either because I had so many other things going on, but we buckled down and got it done. I'll do another post on that later.
Our kittens are doing great! Alexander and Casey disappear for days at a time, so we decided to get more kitties that will hopefully stick around the house more. Alexander disappeared a few days before we got our other kittens and he was missing for over 6 weeks, but Kenneth found him last week and brought him home. He stuck around for a few days and now he and Casey have both been gone for 4 days or so.
At the end of June the kids had a week of summer school in the mornings, and they always have fun with that.
I didn't get any pictures of Ella's birthday or the 4th of July this year (except this photo of Ella riding the horse that Janille had on SnapChat, is that creepy?) and we actually had some strange flu/sickness going around that week, Clara and I missed the fireworks because she was having a fever and chills.
The problem with getting into house projects is that I get into the mode and want to keep going...so we started on our backsplash the 4th of July.
July 5th we had to go Primary Children's in SLC for pulmonology appointments (just the yearly check ups) We had sick kids and I was sick, so that made things exciting. ☺
It cooled down one morning by quite a bit, and I was able to see the roses before they cooked from the heat.
The kids (except for Clara, but she got a cape and mask anyway) had a couple of days of VBS and the theme was super hero's. Right up Britton's alley!
