The Friends and Family retreat was over the July 4th weekend this year, there were lots of activities planned and we had lots of visitors.
Friday morning was the annual Walk-a-Song 5K, 10K, and half marathon. After that was breakfast, and then my cousin Jeremiah led a devotional. Mid-day, a trip to Fossil Mountain was planned for those that wanted to go, and then a water fight later on in the afternoon. We of course had our usual 4th of July celebration in the evening (Food, concert, and fireworks), and this year we had the perfect night for fireworks and it was great! (no rain)
Saturday was church as usual and I can't remember what was going in the afternoon, but later on that night we had a bonfire at the Salt Flats. Sunday was more visiting, and saying good byes.
All that to say that it was an awesome weekend with friends and family!

Wow, two. That's two more than I would have managed lately. Have not taken a single photo of our "new" old house since we moved in last November.

Yes we did. After two kids and nine years we had outgrown the basement. And it probably is blog worthy however with no home internet . . . You're lucky I still occasionally read any blogs let alone leave a comment. Doing so on my phone is a royal pain.
