When we moved here, the front door (ha, what am I saying? the only door...) was missing a big chunk of weather stripping at the bottom. It's something that I've been wanting to fix because I know that lots of spiders and bugs are coming in the house that way. Well, last night I was getting ready for bed and I was looking for something so I had turned on the entryway light. I saw a movement out of the corner of my eye at the bottom of the front door and in that split second it looked like a snakes tongue peeking through the hole.
Fight or flight?
I ran away.
Then I came back to investigate.
Nope, not a snake, but a scorpion, he was still working on getting through.
Everyone else was asleep, but I woke Cary up to get rid of the scorpion.
He wasn't too happy that I woke him up for THAT.
Um, I don't know about anyone else, but a scorpion living in my house is kind of a big deal. ☺
Then I was up all night worrying about what other creatures (snakes?!) are getting through that gap in the door!
Ugh.
I'm slowly trying to get caught up on posting and going through my pictures.
Friday's are exercise days around here.
Groups of people out running
and then working out on the lawn.
