Messy Girl

The other day I'm doing my thing around the house, Aidan and I were polishing off a bag of peanut M&M's, I come back in the living room to check on the kids and found Ella looking like this.

After freaking out for a minute and making sure I got all the peanut particles out of her mouth (thank goodness for those sharp teeth!), I grabbed the camera

This happened before with a brownie that had almonds in it.

I haven't figured out if Aidan is being nice and sharing

or if Ella is just being an opportunist and picking up his leftovers.

 She was totally bummed that I took away what little was left of that M&M.

She likes her food!

Yes, I'm a dork...

I have another blog. I created the new one to talk about the house remodel, decorating, crafty things, furniture I want to refinish, someday gardening, etc... I probably will and do talk about it over here too, but I can go more into depth over there. ☺

The Munchkins

I think Aidan is starting to enjoy Ella more now that she can move around and chase him.

He brings her toys and food.....yeah

food, like brownies (with almonds!) and M&M's. (a story for tomorrow)

Although she does try to steal his toys away from him now and he's not so fond of that.

I've been putting them down at the same time for their afternoon nap and I will check on Ella through our video monitor and I see Aidan putting toys and books in her crib. Nice.

He also sings to her which is oh so helpful of him when trying to put her to sleep.

They are tons of fun though, if not somewhat exhausting. ☺

Eight Months!

She's on the MOVE!

Now that she's crawling (or something sort of resembling crawling) it's really hard to get her to sit still.

Her hair is looking particularly awesome too.

She's kind of goofball too.

I was sitting there throwing toys to her so I could get her to sit still long enough to get a couple of photos.

She's got 5 teeth now and working on the 6th tooth. As I said, she's definitely getting around and she's my little vacuum looking for treats (edible or not), she knows that underneath Aidan's chair is the best place for finding the good stuff.

Grandma's Memorial Continued...

After Grandma's memorial service we had a meal. There was a table that had all the treats that most people remember Grandma making--her whole wheat bread and cheese, fudge, and candied popcorn. I did manage to not get a picture of that.

Janille and Sharon just may kill me for that picture. ☺

Taking pictures of Conrad's is worse than taking pictures of kids! No one can stop talking, I know, I suffer from the same affliction.

I did manage to get TWO pictures where everyone had a decent expression on their face

and this picture just cracked me up since this is how it usually was

Tim's family...I apparently missed out when they took pictures of the other families?

It was great seeing everybody, but of course the time goes by too fast.
