This is what it looked like driving into Snake Valley on Friday night.
We didn't get any work done on the house this weekend.
The House of Aaron was hosting the "Garden of Peace" mens retreat this weekend.
That kept us busy the entire weekend. (I helped with meals)
My kids started getting sick on Thursday, and Thursday night was a disaster with Aidan coughing so bad that he couldn't get more than 45 minutes of sleep at a time.
So none of us got any sleep that night.
Cary ran him to the walk-in clinic early Friday morning and they put him on albuterol (a breathing treatment) and a steroid. The medicine has been helping, but then Aidan came down with a fever on Saturday and Ella had a fever yesterday.
Fun times, fun times.
I'm excited about Thanksgiving though!
It's taken a little longer this year to get into what our decorating theme was going to be for Thanksgiving dinner, but we came up with something, it will be fun and I'm looking forward to it. ☺

Wow...totally beautiful sunset! I got very homesick looking at those pictures for some reason...lol
Poor kids! Are they feeling any better? I sure hope so!
It looks like the sky is on fire. There's nothing better than a sunset like that for making you thankful and recognizing God's grace in our lives. Love it!
Beautiful pictures!
Sorry to hear about your little ones getting sick. It is awful having to watch them being sick. Kendra is getting over a long cold.
I can't wait to see the pictures of Thanksgiving to see how you all decorate this year. It is always so beautiful.
