Fall Colors!

I've been wanting to drive up in the mountains to look at the fall color, but we just haven't made it up into the mountains around here, and I'm afraid we've missed the colorful trees on most of the mountains.
Last week, my cousin Jenny, posted about seeing pretty fall color in Great Basin National Park, so I was inspired to go there while we were out in the valley for the weekend.
Our weekends are usually pretty stacked, but we made room for the pretty drive.
Of course it was raining and we were trying to beat the sun going down.
It was definitely the tailend though as all the leaves have probably fallen off now, it was still pretty but definitely not the vibrant colors that Jenny got photos of.

Very pretty. None of my scenery pictures turned out really. :P I actually really like the cool prism effect you got with the sun glare! ☺ Nice.

Those ended up being great photos Annette :) The only drawback to the photos was that you had cloud-cover instead of sunlight. But, your nice camera made up for that :)
Glad you guys made it up there - since it's snowy up there now. lol.
Also, I love your newest family photos too!
