Desert Flowers

Last Saturday afternoon, while at EskDale, Cary, the kids and I went for a little drive around the "loop".
We spotted some flowering globe mallows and I wanted to stop and take some pictures.
(much to my impatient husband's chagrin)
In his defense, I had to scope the area for snakes for a good five minutes or so before I would even start taking pictures.  ☺
Don't really want to be surprised while taking a picture like this.

It was such a pretty day.

I am always in awe of how beautiful the desert can be in springtime. I remember Belva Weight had the most beautiful garden.
