One of the many fun postpartum things we get to go through, (notice I said "one of") is hair loss. I'm shedding worse than an animal and between Aidan's cracker crumbs and my hair, I'm needing to vacuum all. the. time. (notice I said "need to", not that I am.) :-) The hair loss is a result of hormone changes during pregnancy and you stop shedding hair like a normal person, then after you have a baby and your hormones change again, you shed all the hair that you should have lost during the pregnancy. I'm pretty sure I'm going to be bald before it's all said and done. What's really fun is after you're done shedding and your hair starts to grow back in, you get all these little short hairs that stick out everywhere...so maybe my hair will look like Ella's.
On another note, not directly related,............ or is it?
I'm feeling frustrated, overwhelmed, and very depressed. I could use some cheering up.

Here's a hug!!!!
I really don't think you'll go bald. At least I hope you won't! I remember when I had chicken pox the only place I allowed myself to scratch was my head, hoping I would keep my hair my entire life. I guess if I go bald in the future, I can look for fun hats. Little kids like hats!
Thanks for the perspective, Gretchen. :-)
