We started off with a BBQ with a lot of family Labor Day weekend...
I started up running (jogging, wogging, whatever...) once school started...
I was a chaperone on the field trip to the Living History and Arts Festival in Fillmore.
The kids were supposed to see the show with a Hawk, but the trainer was in a bad accident and couldn't make it, so Clive Romney did a presentation instead.
Hoop Dance
I loved all the cool moldings, trim, baseboards in the Territorial Statehouse... I'm pretty sure I can recreate this at home. 😀
Mrs Phillips always buys her class a snow cone, Britton was enjoying his.
The life sized Lincoln Logs were pulled out and the kids had a blast.
It turned out that the Delta Care Center had driven a bus over to Fillmore for a concert, and so about the time we were leaving we saw that Grandma Arlene was there.
She was happy to see so many of her great grand kids. 😊
For awhile our back patio was covered with bird feathers! Totally gross, but I think Pierce was teaching the kittens how to hunt or something. That phase passed, thank goodness.

The Wheel-a-thon!
We missed the Baker take off because they forgot to let us know they were leaving earlier than planned.
The Garrison group before take off...
All of the kids rode all of their miles.
Clara and I helped put the lunch out, and she had lot of little boys to play with.
We took a drive to Snake Creek to see some fall colors, but it ended up snowing, so it wasn't a good day for photos. 😜
There is a photo of our finished awning in the back of the house. 😉
Clara started her last year of preschool!
They had a bit of a late start as we had a really bad cold spell in September and they had to replace the furnace in the building.
I liked the color of the Japanese Red Maple with the blue spruce in the background.
I keep trying to grow these trees and it's just not working out! Our soil is too alkaline.
