Two Months (Clara)

Clara at two months old.

(I'm writing all this down for my own info, it's amazing how fast I forget)

- Weighing in around 13 lbs according to our scale (however accurate it may be) ☺

- She's been smiling for a couple of weeks now.

- Sleeping longer stretches at night (like 5-6 hours), but mom knows better than to get excited about this because all my kids start sleeping through the night around two months old and then hit a growth spurt or something and it goes back to crap. ;)

- She lost all her hair except a patch in the back near her neck, but she's growing some dark fuzz now.

- I hope it's safe to say that she's not colicky or anything. She'll have a fussy day here and there, but at least it's not everyday like it was with my boys.

- She has a little bit of reflux, but not bad enough that we need to medicate, I just try and make sure to keep her propped up for awhile after feeding.  Some nights I'll hear her ruminating...for lack of a better word while she's trying to sleep.

- The other kids adore her, and I still have to watch Britton very closely because he'd like to love her to death. (literally) I think Britton and Ella ask to hold her about every ten minutes. Ella had major regression a few weeks after Clara was born and we dealt with a very trying couple of weeks of potty accidents. She seems to have gotten over it and is back to normal. Whew.

 

There Goes the Neighborhood...

Actually, I think it improved a little...☺

Hard to think that I lived in that house for about 3.5 years.

I wasn't sad to see it go.

 

Spirit Week

I officially hate Spirit Week at school. ☺

Maybe next year we'll be a little bit more prepared, ha.

 Crazy hair day.

He told me he wanted it spiked, so I spiked it, but when he looked in the mirror he said, "Mom, that's a little too crazy!"

So he settled for a mohawk.

I didn't get pictures of animal day (he was a snake, but he wasn't dressed up), superhero day, or pajama day. I think Pajama day was Aidan's favorite because he didn't have to get dressed. ☺

This picture was hat day and backwards day, but I took the picture after he put on his jacket.

Easy...

Deconstruction

Deconstruction sounds better than destruction, although it is destruction, it's just in a positive way.

The south side of EskDale is looking a little different nowadays.

The sewer line was having some issues a month or so ago and it was determined that all the sewer pipe on that side of the community was going to need to be replaced.

Faber Construction is out here getting the job done.

Got distracted, so while Phil is out here with his equipment we decided to have him knock down some houses that have been abandoned for awhile.
