More about the Baby Goats =)

Janille offered to take Aidan and Ella for a night, and Cary was gone, so it was just me and Britton.
That was nice...and weird.
I'd say somewhat quiet, but Britton is not so quiet anymore. ;) It was definitely more peaceful though.
Thanks Janille!
So we went over to her house later to pick up the kids and see the goat kids too.

Cheryl, the momma goat, isn't quite accepting these adopted kids yet. She'll nurse them though if someone is giving her attention.

Baby Goats

Megan, my neice, had two goats and they were both pregnant. This week, one of her goats had 4 babies, but one died, and then the mom died the next morning. The second goat then went into labor and had 3 babies and they were all dead. It's all very sad. So now they have one momma goat with 3 dead babies and 3 baby goats with no mamma. They are trying to get the momma to accept the 3 babies, so here's hoping to a happy ending.
Anyway, we went over to see the baby goats because Aidan and Ella had heard about them and wanted to see them (and go to Janille's house).
My kids loved the goat kids (and being over at Janille's house). ☺

Playing in the Snow

My last post was how we were inside all day because it snowed all day long, and into the night. The next morning there was about 7-9 " of snow on the ground. (The sidewalks are not an accurate measurement because we had been clearing them off continually the day before)

The kids wanted to go out and play in the snow before school started, so we let them at it. (See the little blue snowball?)

Britton wanted so badly to be outside too, but he had to settle for looking out the window.

Breanna and Alyshia came over to visit.

I took pictures so the snow can go away now. ☺
