Smile

You're on camera!
Yesterday was my 13 week appointment and other than being a typical boring appointment, this picture was taken.
It's a profile of baby #3 if you can't tell.
She wasn't being very cooperative while they were trying to look at her on the ultrasound yesterday.
Flipping around, doing jumping jacks, or trying to hide in corners.
It's actually not #3's first photograph, we had one done at 8 weeks, but she looks more like a blob in that picture.
I will refer to baby #3 as "he" or "she" as the mood strikes me.
Yesterday it was a "he", today she was a "she".
I also had the arsenal of blood drawn, but thankfully, no 24 hr urine samples this time. (so far)

I'm already getting requests for belly photos.
Well, lets just say that I look like the Pillsbury dough girl right now and call that good. ☺

A Wall!

Everytime I've wanted to sit down and write a blog post,
I have a sudden nap attack.
Sleep has usually been winning. ☺
I mean, cripes, I went to bed at 9:30 last night! Can't tell you the last time that's happened.
Last week, Cary and Alex were busy filling in holes in the floor and all that.
Sunday
Alex and Ryan helped Cary out with framing walls.

I'm waaaaaaay ahead of myself and I'm testing out paint colors.
(you can't really tell, but those are varying shades of light blue)

Ryan just barely got back from somewhere (Iraq?) like a week ago or something...

It sure was nice to have him and Alex over there helping Cary.
(I'm just there for emotional support)

They got this wall done

and moved the door over for our "master bathroom" and framed it up.

Good work, men!

Oh Happy Day

Writing about how lazy I have been was apparently a good thing,
it got me motivated and I finally cleaned up our bedroom, went through a bunch of stuff and now have a nice DI pile.
I'm happy to say that our room now looks like *we* live there. ☺
Cary changed work schedules this week, so now he's waking up and going to work an hour earlier.
(which is a lot bigger deal when he was already getting up early!)
Between that and the kids having a rough week, we haven't been getting a whole lot of sleep-- I think we're starting to get a little cranky and we're definitely ready for the weekend. ☺
On Tuesday, the kids were SO crabby, especially Ella...and it continued on Wednesday.
I'm a little slow on the uptake, but on Wednesday it finally occurred to me to look in her mouth.
She has THREE molars (that I can see) popping through.
Ahhhh, that explains it.
I gave her some pain medication and she was a different kid...

until last night when the diarrhea kicked in.
(I know, you're so glad you read my blog today)
Poor girl has it pretty bad and her poor bum.
She cried every time she pooped last night because it burned so bad and this morning she just wants me to hold her continually.

She's napping right now which is the only reason I got to eat breakfast, get Aidan dressed and myself dressed.
At some point I'm supposed to pack too.

I'm hoping she gets feeling better soon. ♥

So Lazy..

I'm actually feeling better lately, but still have my food aversions and would rather not be in the kitchen around food.
So Cary is still our family chef, and doing a great job of it!
I'm seriously craving Olive Garden salad though and would like it if we ate there everyday.
Cary seems to think we can't afford that. ☺

The insomnia and heartburn are kicking my butt at night though, and it makes me really lazy during the day...or that's what I'd like to blame it on anyway.
I haven't even been wanting to blog.
(Gasp!)
It's amazing how stuff accumulates if no one is keeping on top of throwing stuff out or organizing it.
I haven't been doing it and our room is starting to look like a scene from the show "Hoarders". ☺

This is completely random, but last night we made a run to Target and it's in the same area as the Cafe Rio we usually go to.
When we drove up and parked in the Target parking lot, Aidan says "Let's go to Cafe Rio, guys?"
That's my boy!
But I was surprised how they pick up on their surroundings like that.
He knew Cafe Rio was there even though he couldn't see it.
He was pretty adamant that we needed to eat there too.

Cozy Coupe

Janille and Sharon got Aidan a "cozy coupe" for his birthday present.

Of course, putting it together was the fun part.
Aidan was trying really hard to be patient.

There were lots of helpers. ☺

Ella got the first test ride.

Then Aidan wanted his turn.

But Ella didn't want Aidan to have a turn.

Alyshia consoling Ella when Aidan got to ride in the car.

This picture kind of tells the story of the chaos that was going on.

Both of the kids are loving the "car".
