I haven't updated because the internet has either been down or just incredibily slow, it just hasn't been worth it.
Life has just been the usual summer stuff, but it's getting too hot to do much. I have been preparing for our big 4th of July celebration. We are expecting around 500 people this year for the food and fireworks. It should be fun, and I'll see some of you there!
My cat had 5 kittens, I can't remember if I mentioned that before or not. They are almost a month old so they are hitting the REALLY cute stage. There are 4 girls and 1 boy and I'm still deciding how many of them I should keep. It horrifies dad everytime I say that. Someday I will take pictures and post them. I know it's rather shocking, but I haven't taken ANY pictures of these kittens.
Today is the NBA draft, but I find myself not really caring all that much. I'm more excited about the Rocky Mountain Revue and I'm hoping that some of us go to a game or two. The Tour de France starts this weekend which should be pretty exciting to watch this year. Luckily, Crystal will keep us updated on the whole event.
Some pictures I took during a rainstorm awhile back.

Hmmm
.....sitting here flipping channels between horse racing and ice skating, relishing my relaxation time. This week with getting ready for Passover weekend is going to be insane as was last week.
The past three days were spent at the state cow show in Ogden with my dad, Ken, and Ben. First day we were there it was incredibly windy and I will now spend the next 3 days cleaning saw dust and other dirt particles out of my eyes, ears, etc.... It was nice having Ken there, he made me look like a hard worker. A few more weeks of that and I would actually have some muscle. As with all cow shows, there were the miserable moments but all in all it was a lot of fun. If you find yourself fascinated by it all, go ahead and visit http://www.eskdaledairy.com/
I normally wouldn't take pictures of a truck and trailer, but this is a little bit of an upgrade from what we used to take to shows. :o)
Washing the cows. Definitely not the job to have since it was so cold.
Dad and Ben clipping Allie-Sue.
Cary came and visited us the first day, and he's cleaning sawdust out of his eyes. You can't tell by the pictures, but it was extremely windy that day.
The cows relaxing.
Me getting the heifer ready for the show.
Dad in the show ring.

Don't be fooled. It looks sunny and green, but it was FREEZING! I had two shirts and two jackets on the whole time we were there.. Kenneth is going to love that picture.

Long Day
Shawn was out here yesterday to fly (crash) his toy plane. Ken and I were with him and I got sunburned. I don't look as fried as Shawn does, but my face and my neck were pink. I guess I need to get back in the habit of wearing sunscreen and a hat.
Today was really warm and sunny too, and I had good intentions of planting flowers, but never got around to it.
The Jazz won a game last night, and then lost bad tonight. I did see Raul last night because he was on the halftime show, so I'm set for a week or two. ReAL Salt Lake also started their season, so I have another obsession to start working on. The problem with soccer (or futbol) is that they only have like 10 games in 4 months. That's a little different from the 10-15 games/month schedule of the NBA.
I'm starting to get boring. HA! I'm out.

Wow
I can't believe it's April already. Time is flying by.
Last Tuesday, the Timpview Highschool band came to Eskdale and had a concert with the high school here. It was fun to hear them play.
Last week on Friday we had a big birthday party for Chandra, Sharon, and Caleb. The dessert table rivaled the dessert table at Condie family reunions. Ummm....dessert.
We in the dance team have been starting to work more on dances for Passover. I'm only doing three, so it shouldn't be too stressful.
The weather can't decide if it's going to be warm or cold, but mostly it's cold and windy. Well, if I had a better memory I'd be able to write more, but alas I can't remember past the last few hours, so I'm off to finish writing up the menus for next month.
