I made a resolution to update this more often...hopefully it works out better than most of my resolutions......
I'm still at Eskdale "working". I actually like what I'm doing right now and I'm very content with how things are, frighteningly so, actually..... My birthday came a went last month too, and now mom is more determined than ever to get me married. It's still weird to not be in school, but I don't miss all the things that go with school.
Winter came quickly this week, dumping snow and bringing more cold. I was quite enjoying the mild winter we WERE having. Luckily I did finally dig my ditch at the end of October before it got too cold and so I've had internet at the shack. It's great.
Last month we teamed up with the highschool and put on a fundraiser dinner for 3 nights in a row. The highschool sings, the orchestra plays, and then they perform a play while they eat dinner. We had about 80 people attend each night, so that was fun preparing, cooking, and serving all that food. It was a lot of work, but it was fun. I'm glad though that life has slowed down, and I'm just cooking for the community once again.
All of the college kids have been back during their break for the most part, so I've been hanging out with Kenneth, Sharon, Abby, and sometimes Cindy. Of course they all leave me when I want to watch the Jazz games. That's when Kiah and Alex usually show up. Good times, good times....Although the Jazz suck so bad right now that it's becoming painful to watch the games. Being the optimistic person that I am, I keep watching and analyzing to see how/when they will start playing better.
I don't know if I ever mentioned that I got three kittens last summer. So yeah, I got three kittens last summer, so I will leave you with pictures of my kids. Of course they are bigger, fatter, and lazier now, but they are still cute.
