Wow, what a time it's been.

The MIA conference was great! Most of you know, since you were there, and it was lovely seeing you all again. I'm still waiting for everyone to post pictures they took at the conference. Somehow I never remember to bring my camera.

At the conference. ;-)

At Tabernacles

Life has been kind of crazy since we got back. I've been cooking alot as usual, and soon I'll stop talking about it. I decorated my cousin's wedding cake for 3 days. Luckily Abby and Sharon were home for the weekend and helped me out a bit, but it still took a while for my hand to function normally. Right after my cousins' wedding I went to the State Fair in Salt Lake to help my dad and my brother Ben with the cow show. Good times, good times, and lots of hard work. I usally try to stay away from hard work, but I always manage to get persuaded into going to cow shows. I still haven't been able to catch up on my sleep, but I'm wondering if that's even possible. So if I say anything insane that's what I'm blaming it on.

The cakes I decorated for Jenny's wedding.

I got a new computer which I'm very excited about. I just need someone to dig a trench to my shack so that I can have the internet, and as digging falls into the category of hard work, it might be awhile before it gets done. Computers are worthless to me without the internet though, so I'll have to do it eventually. Ok, I'm totally rambling so I think it's time to end this.

Well, here I am again.

The school schedule here in Eskdale has already started so my work schedule has changed also. Over the summer besides eating popscicles and other things my job was landscape maintenance, but now I'm a chef. Ok, ok, that might be romanticizing it a bit, but I find myself cooking alot lately.

Everyone around my age will soon be leaving this week for school, and I'm about to become really depressed about that.

The Orlando reunion isn't very far away and I'm torn about whether I'm excited or frightened. Of course I'd love to see everyone, but I'm a little worried about my dances.

Lately I've found myself glued to the TV at nights watching the olympics. I have a bit of an obsessive personality...if you hadn't noticed. Ha ha. Before Raul Lopez, there was Pieter van den Hoogenband from the Sydney olympics. For all of you that haven't been watching the olympics, he's a swimmer from the Netherlands. Anyway, it was nice suprise to see him back.

At the risk of sounding like a hick, I'm off to shuck corn and all that goes along with it. It's going to be a long day.........

I guess it's been a while since I wrote last.........

Nothing much has been going on besides school being over since April, the MIA reunion in May, and of course we have a big get-together for the 4th of July. Other than that, I've just been working, eating popsicles, starting up my jogging program for the 20th something time now, puttering around in my yard and doing all of the fun things that you usually do during the summer............. I am looking forward to going to Orlando at the end of this month although I still have 3 dances to learn.

Ok, I just remembered something out of the ordinary that I did.... At the end of June, dad and I drove into Salt Lake and went to the NBA draft party. That was fun, but later in July we went to a Jazz summer league game and that was really fun.

It's going to be weird not going to school when the summer starts coming to a close....however, can't say that I'm missing it yet.

Ok, I'm done for now, but I'll be sure to write more exciting news when the NBA season draws near....;-)

Well, the weather's been lovely lately

Tara and I went for a walk the other day around the great city of Logan for a few hours. It is raining today, but that's ok because I don't have to walk to school today and rain is nice since we don't get it very often...everything is turning green and it makes me happy.

It dawned on me during one of my classes this week that I get out of school even earlier than I originally thought. Last day of classes for me is April 20 so that's kind of cool. The only bad side of this is that I have less time to do all my final projects I've been procrastinating on.

There are only 3 weeks left of the NBA season.....Jazz are fighting for a playoff spot so it will get very interesting. I'm so excited! I decided to give Raul a break this time so I didn't put his picture up so instead you get to look at me.

Yay, it's warm

I'm so happy, although, now I get to complain that it got too hot too fast.... I love it when I whine about 55 degrees being hot. I'm loving it even though it makes me feel like I shouldn't be in school still. Oh well, only about a month and some to go and then I'm done!!!!

Spring break was last week, so I was home. That was fun. It was nice to see Jaime and all those nice people as they dropped in for a visit.

I'm trying to learn a dance for Passover that my sister choreographed. It's interesting, I'm not very good at learning dances through a video anyway, but it's especially intimidating when my roommates are watching me. (I'm not an advanced dancer like the rest of ya'll. )

I decided that I will spare all of you and not talk about basketball today. Although there is a Jazz game tonight.......... Aren't any of you Memphis Grizzly fans? Geez............ Ok, ok, well, I'm off......Have a fabulous day everyone!

Time flies...

...when your depressed and hibernating from the weather. I can't believe February is almost over. It's raining today actually which I muchly prefer to the daily snowstorms that we have been having and will have the next few days....anyway....enough about that. I'm so ready for spring.

The reason it's been so long since I've written here (besides my being incredibly lazy) is that my life is so boring! Trudging to school in the snow (uphill for miles) , pretending that I don't have homework, listening daily to sports radio (what is wrong with me?), and the special occasions that I actually get to watch a Jazz game. The Jazz have won their last two games by the way. You care.....I know you do.

I did go home last weekend for the first time in awhile. I got to see all of my cute nieces and nephews. That was fun, and now I get to look forward to Spring Break next week!

John Kerry won the Utah primaries.....I think all 3 democrats in Utah voted. J/K there are more Democrats here than that, I'm sure there are 5 or 6. (that is one ugly smiley face)

Well, like I said, and proved by writing this. My life is, oh, so exciting right now. I will try to write more often.............

Jazz talk

I just remembered something that happened to me recently. A week ago on Thursday, it was the NBA trade deadline. The Jazz traded away one of my favorite players...DeShawn Stevenson. He is now a member of the Orlando Magic. I was devastated and cried all morning and afternoon. Ok, not really, but I was sad for a few days. I really like the new players that we now have on our team now and everything is back to being hunky dory except that now I have to like Orlando.

Well, that's all I had to say about that. Kenneth will be thrilled with my sports section.....
