Well, the weather's been lovely lately

Tara and I went for a walk the other day around the great city of Logan for a few hours. It is raining today, but that's ok because I don't have to walk to school today and rain is nice since we don't get it very often...everything is turning green and it makes me happy.

It dawned on me during one of my classes this week that I get out of school even earlier than I originally thought. Last day of classes for me is April 20 so that's kind of cool. The only bad side of this is that I have less time to do all my final projects I've been procrastinating on.

There are only 3 weeks left of the NBA season.....Jazz are fighting for a playoff spot so it will get very interesting. I'm so excited! I decided to give Raul a break this time so I didn't put his picture up so instead you get to look at me.

Yay, it's warm

I'm so happy, although, now I get to complain that it got too hot too fast.... I love it when I whine about 55 degrees being hot. I'm loving it even though it makes me feel like I shouldn't be in school still. Oh well, only about a month and some to go and then I'm done!!!!

Spring break was last week, so I was home. That was fun. It was nice to see Jaime and all those nice people as they dropped in for a visit.

I'm trying to learn a dance for Passover that my sister choreographed. It's interesting, I'm not very good at learning dances through a video anyway, but it's especially intimidating when my roommates are watching me. (I'm not an advanced dancer like the rest of ya'll. )

I decided that I will spare all of you and not talk about basketball today. Although there is a Jazz game tonight.......... Aren't any of you Memphis Grizzly fans? Geez............ Ok, ok, well, I'm off......Have a fabulous day everyone!

Time flies...

...when your depressed and hibernating from the weather. I can't believe February is almost over. It's raining today actually which I muchly prefer to the daily snowstorms that we have been having and will have the next few days....anyway....enough about that. I'm so ready for spring.

The reason it's been so long since I've written here (besides my being incredibly lazy) is that my life is so boring! Trudging to school in the snow (uphill for miles) , pretending that I don't have homework, listening daily to sports radio (what is wrong with me?), and the special occasions that I actually get to watch a Jazz game. The Jazz have won their last two games by the way. You care.....I know you do.

I did go home last weekend for the first time in awhile. I got to see all of my cute nieces and nephews. That was fun, and now I get to look forward to Spring Break next week!

John Kerry won the Utah primaries.....I think all 3 democrats in Utah voted. J/K there are more Democrats here than that, I'm sure there are 5 or 6. (that is one ugly smiley face)

Well, like I said, and proved by writing this. My life is, oh, so exciting right now. I will try to write more often.............

Jazz talk

I just remembered something that happened to me recently. A week ago on Thursday, it was the NBA trade deadline. The Jazz traded away one of my favorite players...DeShawn Stevenson. He is now a member of the Orlando Magic. I was devastated and cried all morning and afternoon. Ok, not really, but I was sad for a few days. I really like the new players that we now have on our team now and everything is back to being hunky dory except that now I have to like Orlando.

Well, that's all I had to say about that. Kenneth will be thrilled with my sports section.....

Hi people

How are we all doing this fine Sunday? It's been snowing here in Logan all night and all morning. We got another 3-4 inches to add to the 2 feet we still had that hasn't melted from the last storm, and the high yesterday was 10 degrees. Alas, the sun has come out now and is shining brightly.

As it is Sunday, Tara and I have been bums all day...lounging around, reading, and taking naps.

Sport's section: Sadly, my beloved basketball team has not been doing so well this past week. They have so many injuries they are lucky to have 5 guys that are even available to play. I believe that they will come out of their slump.....Go Jazz!. USU however is playing awesome, and I think their record after last night is 15-1. Go Aggies.

Politics section: Without Kenneth around I don't even pay attention much... See Ken, I need you around. The only people I have to talk about politics with are Tom and Yonk, they usually want to talk about it while I'm trying to watch a game, AND they are dumb.......

Ok, enough of me....

Into.....again

I guess I forgot to introduce myself so some of you were wondering where I go to school and all that...

I'm from Eskdale, but I'm currently going to Utah State University in Logan, UT. It's 5 hours away from Eskdale. I'm majoring in Ornamental Horticulture and this is my last semester. Yeah!!!

This weekend was a holiday weekend and so I went home for a few days. My wonderful brother Kenneth came and picked me up. I spent time babysitting the kiddie winks and making sure to watch the few Jazz games that were on. Abby, Ken, and I attempted to make breadsticks the other night...they were alright.

I'm back in Logan now where it atleast is a little warmer so it's not so bad except that I got locked out of my apartment today so I'm spending quality time at the computer lab when I should be home eating lunch. Good times, good times....

Well, I think I'm off to see if any of my roommates are home yet.

Booooring

Hope everyone's having a great time going to school and all that. I've been keeping myself busy playing on the internet, reading, going to class occasionally, and trying to stay warm. Staying warm could partly be accomplished by not going to class, but sadly that's not an option.

I'm going home this weekend since we have a holiday, so all of you at Eskdale can look forward to that.....ha, ha. Tom never got our parking lot cleared after the 3 ft snow fall..so now our parking lot is a lot of packed ice. He is planning a ice hockey game sometime this week. I most definitely will not be involved in that game...

I've been going over to Tom's place (my apartment manager) to watch the Jazz games, and the last time I went over it was Poker night. So all these guys show up in their Vegas gear. Jeremiah had a huge sombrero. It was really funny..and of course they had lots of good food. It was kind of ironic however, that I was only girl there and I was the only watching the Jazz game.

Well, I'm afraid that my life is really boring right now, so I don't have much to say, and I have a Jazz game to listen to.
