August was full of end of Summer BBQ's, reunions, kitties, school starting, the usual...😏

A family with six kids visited for a week during August and our kids had a blast with them while they were here.

We made some effort to go to the Hanks Reunion in Spanish Fork this year and I was glad we did because Grandma Arlene was there and I don't get to see her very often. She's in Delta, and most of our trips go south to Cedar City. We saw uncle Vee, and visited with Jesse and Vanessa, so it was a fun, but quick, trip.

August 21 was the eclipse, Clara and I crashed the jr high and high school viewing party. 😊

This Rose of Sharon bush has been amazing, tons of flowers.
We got an awning over our laundry room door, we were worried about how it was going to look, but the overhang there was so short that the door has no protection and water seeps in the house during rain and snow storms. I just noticed I never took an "after" photo. 😄
