Kids Bathroom Remodel (phase 1)

This was one of those projects that we really didn't want to start anytime soon, but last summer, tiles and grout were starting to come loose and then they were cracking, and then the toilet overflowed a few times so water was flowing into the particle board underneath the floor, etc...so we said it had to be done. ☺

We knew we wanted to take out the door that led into the bedroom, so that got filled in before we did anything.

We did it all by ourselves! Yay! Cary did most of it, but I did help a little. :D

We did some board and batten on the wall where the door had been. I love it!

Cary also added some recessed lighting and that's been really nice to have! I painted the walls a different color and stained the door.

Fall Break

I thought I had fixed my laptop issues, but I haven't which is why there has been another blogging hiatus. Arrrgh. I'm working on buying a new laptop and then maybe I'll get back to blogging in real time (or at least close!)
The school kids had a fall break the end of October and the first day of break we had to head to Cedar City for dentist appointments, then we headed to SLC for Abby's baby shower.

This was how the kids handled the first couple days after daylight savings.

A few other pictures from November.

The care center that Grandma Arlene is in, goes on a field trip once a month or something and they visit restaurants in other towns, so in November they drove out to the Border, so we went over to say "hi".
