School Starts!

I was getting up at 6:30 to go walking most of the summer, but of course that has ended since school started, but that was a good time to get some scenery pictures.

School started for Aidan and Ella on August 17. Aidan is in 3rd grade and now goes to Baker school. A new teacher, new building, new everything! Ella is in 1st grade.

Britton and Clara didn't start school until Sept 1, so Britton spent a lot of time at my mom's house and Clara kept up with all her other jobs, like taking care of the kitties,

 working her important office job,

making dad read her morning stories,

and watching tv with Brit.  ☺
 School started!
Yay!
I cram as many yard, house, whatever projects as I can in those few hours in the morning a couple days a week. :)

Church Picnic and misc...

I finally accepted that it was summer around August and decided it was time to do some yard work. ;)
The other side of that is that it's impossible to work in my yard AND keep an eye on my kids, they split in 4 different directions and then I spend the rest of the time figuring out where they went, but sometimes they are good helpers too.

The church picnic was on August 15 this year, and I stole some of Sharon's photos, and it will probably be obvious which ones are hers.

Tom found out what happens when you try to take a nap around my kids.

Latham texted me one morning and asked if Britton wanted to ride in the tractor for a little while, so I walked Britton down to the field to meet up with Latham and then Ella decided she wanted to go too. Sounds like since both of them were in the tractor that they didn't last too long, it probably would have been more sucessful with just Britton. ☺

I'll say it a lot...but we have the most patient cats! The two males put up with so much "love" from Clara, but they keep coming back for more. They are almost the most social cats I've ever been around.
