Home Office

Cary was really needing a better work space since he works from home the majority of the week, and he needs two monitors and a little bit of room to breathe. He's been working on a tiny little desk since that's all we could fit in our bedroom over at the little house. ☺ I finally painted a wall so we could make at least one part of the room nice.

 Before

 After (sort of) We DIY'ed the desk ourselves. I used the door that we took down from the living room coat closet, stained it and that is our desk top.

 It's not done, but it's definitely better than what we had before. The little desk is what Cary used to work on.

 In the interest of keeping it real....the rest of the office looks like this. Actually, Cary moved his piano in there and I had to move some stuff from our disintegrating shed, so it looks even worse. ☺ We need a shed!

Goofballs

These are over a month old, so Clara has definitely had a growth spurt since then.

I really need to better about blogging. ☺

Britton turns 3!

Oh, what to say about this boy.

We often refer to him has a bull in a china closet. :)

He's a sweetheart though and occasionally looks at me and says, "Mom, I want to give you a kiss!"

 

 

Birthday Party for Two

As some of you know, Clara's birthday is February 14, and Britton's is February 19th. I did a combined party for them this year since we had a lot going on around that time. It wasn't very organized, which is usual for me lately. :p

I was going to see if Clara would blow out her candle.

She snuffed it out with her fingers instead and I was trying to keep from touching the flame.

I think I scared her. ☺

She was a little put out by that for a few minutes.
