Hanukkah 2013

A few pictures from the Hanukkah season this year. The first night of Hanukkah was on Thanksgiving and we had the Hanukkah party the next night.

It's worth noting that we had a big snow storm on Tuesday and Cary was coming home that night and ended up spending the night in Delta since it wouldn't have been a good idea to keep traveling, it took him 6 hours to get to Delta. Temperatures plummeted and we went from a high of 63 degrees on Monday to -25 by the end of the week! It's still really cold, yesterday was -15.

Thanksgiving 2013

A few pictures from Thanksgiving time-- making pies, eating, hanging out with family. We had a snow storm right before Thanksgiving and it killed it off any motivation Kenneth and I may or may not have had for following through with our decorating plans. We ended up just re-using decorations that we've used in the past.

We had a very small crowd for Thanksgiving dinner this year -- around 50 people. We had a great time eating pie and visiting with the family and friends that were able to make it though!
