Friends and Family Retreat 2013 - Saturday

Saturday morning was regular church and my cousin, Jeremiah Faber was a guest speaker and he also sang some of his songs that he has written.
The rest of the day there were scheduled activities for all age groups or just visiting and relaxing.
Then in the evening was praise and worship for those interested, and then when it was dark they had a bonfire at the Salt Flats. We sent Aidan and Ella with Grandma Lois, so Cary and I stayed home with Britton and Clara so I don't have any pictures of that.

Friends and Family Retreat 2013 - Friday

Last weekend was our first Family and Friends Retreat that Rosaleen put together.
It was a great weekend filled with lot of good food and fun things to do!

The day started off with a 5K walk/run and the only picture I got was of the rogator. ;)
Lois planned a treasure hunt (not part of the Retreat activities) for the grandkids that afternoon to celebrate Audree's birthday.

The afternoon activities were a hike and/ or a water slide and water fight. (or filling up water balloons)

Just a random picture of my rose

That night was "A Little Night Music" concert.

Test Walk

Last weekend we went on a walk and I was needing to test out a new camera lens that Sharon got me, so I brought it along. It was such a pretty night! (Unfortunately, the bugs thought so too)

Ella was playing with a stick and got a sliver.

Little Ones

I took Britton outside with me while I moved some hoses around and he ditched me. I finished what I was doing and then went looking for him, and this is where I found him.
I had a small heart attack thinking about how this could have ended badly. :P Cary moved the motorcycle after I took these photos.

Clara's favorite face lately. What a girl.

I have to say that I've gotten used to taking pictures more with my iPod because of convenience but when I do use my camera and upload the photos I'm always taken aback at how much better the photos are. Ha.
