Ella turns four...

Ella

-Right now Ella is really interested in princesses (Cinderella is the favorite)

-She's moved on from pretty skirts to prefering dresses

-Ella is very spunky (dear God, please let it be a phase!)

-She likes to torment her brothers from the moment she wakes up to the moment she goes to sleep. ☺

-She loves her baby sister, Clara

-Her favorite colors are pink and purple

 Her Cinderella dress that she received as a gift. She actually got two since Rosaleen bought her one and Janille did too. :D It works out though because Ella loves it so much she wants to wear it everyday.

 We got her a bike this year too, since she's growing out of the bike we got her last year and she was stealing Aidan's bike. ;)

 She wanted a Cinderella party

 If you notice behind Cinderella there...right as the party was starting, Britton walked over to the cake and pulled Cinderella out of the cake and smashed up the corner.
There was lots of crying, good way to start a party. Heh.

 My cake decorating skills get worse every year... I'm going to permanately turn that job over to Cary. ☺

Too Cute

Ice Cream Social

 

Last weekend was the Snake Valley Festival and these were taken at the Ice Cream Social that kicked off the weekend festivities.

 Later on we went in the building to get away from wind and bugs and Caleb was a great sport while Britton proceeded to attack him.

Father's Day 2013

For Father's Day, we made Cary go do all his regular jobs like mow the lawn and such. Actually, around here it's a privilege to be able to go outside and get some work done. ☺

Later that day we met up with family to have a mini-family reunion/ Father's day picnic. It was really windy outside, so we stayed indoors.

 Cary likes to make random faces because he doesn't believe I'll actually post them.

I will.

Bwahahaha.

 Sharon took this a week or so ago at her house, Britton had taken a late nap that day so I took him over to Crystal and Sharon's house after we put the other kids to bed since I knew he wouldn't be going to sleep for awhile.

The three photos above were taken by Janille. Aidan, Ella, and Britton spent the night at her house Wednesday night last week.

Busy Day

Tuesday morning we went to Bethel to visit my grandma and cheer her up. The boys were outside playing in the dirt.

 Later that day my aunt Joanne was here visiting and we went to my grandpa Bob's house and we found this photo in a pile on the table. We'd never seen this photo before and he said it was taken in North Africa.

 While we were at Grandpa's house we were all dying because now that Grandpa is almost 97, he likes his house really hot, and it was 85 degrees outside and he had the heaters on, so in his office it was over 100 degrees. Clara fell asleep and Sharon put her down on Grandpa's bed and took this picture. Grandpa still makes his bed. ☺
