Friday

 Woke up to rain/ snow Friday morning and it snowed throughout the day.

 Later in the afternoon and it had built up quite a bit. (Ella and Britton walking with Grandma Lois)

 That night was the Harvest Festival in Baker (potluck and auction fundraiser for the Baker/ Garrison schools)

 Aidan didn't understand how the whole auction bidding thing worked so he was getting very mad at me for not raising my hand, or letting him raise his hand when they were auctioning off stuff that I knew neither he nor I wanted. ☺
Me: "Aidan, do you want a purse?" (bamboo steamer, plant stand, etc...)
Aidan: "No!"
Me: "Then don't raise your hand!!!"

 They finally auctioned off some kids books and Aidan finally got to raise his hand and bid on something. Grandma Lois let him bid on this bug book that came with a magnifying glass (and bugs) and they bought it, so Aidan was finally satisfied. ☺

The end of Fall?

 We were outside today enjoying what may be the last of nice weather for awhile (the wind is currently howling outside). Cary was blowing out our sprinklers since it's supposed be pretty cold this weekend.

 Britton is really into holding hands and giving hugs right now. It's really cute. He's also really into NOT taking naps anymore. Not so cute. (The time change really messed up his napping schedule)

 I wanted to get a picture of all three of them, but Ella was being a party pooper.

 I guess technically all three are in the picture. ☺

Time Change

 You never know how kids are going to react to the time change, and you always hope they won't even notice. (ha, ha, ha, ha!)

Aidan and Britton were up Sunday morning at 6:00 demanding breakfast.

Naturally, this morning around 7:00 when Aidan is supposed to be getting out of bed for school, I have drag him out and prop his eyes open. WHY?!

Ella and Britton were ready to go to bed tonight at 5:00.
Hoping for a smoother transition tomorrow. ☺

Weekend

 I decided this morning that it was hair cutting day, so here are some before and afters. I'm not sure what was up with the really goofy grins. ☺

 Today is my dad's birthday and we had a little dinner party for him tonight. Ella and my mom were making pie.

Ella made herself a little pie, but she didn't want any fruit in it. :D

Unfortunately, I didn't get anymore pictures from the party tonight.

Random...a little bit of what's going on.

Firstly, it's night time and by the end of the day I feel like a giant whale. ☺ This pregnancy is killing my feet! I have not found a pair of shoes that feel comfortable to me right now and so I'm ready to start buying old people shoes with the really thick soles so my feet and calves aren't so sore at the end of the day. =P

 

 Kenneth is finally getting his kitchen in! He's only lived in that house for almost two years now, no big deal.

Cary and he are doing the install, so we'll keep you posted about how that's going. ;o)

Remember when I posted about how I needed the wake up light alarm clock?

I broke down and bought it after a couple of days of me almost sleeping through getting Aidan on the bus for school. It's awesome!

That's what you get...

I wrote in my last post that I wasn't experiencing any heartburn, so for the last two days I've had HORRIBLE heartburn. :D

Ugh.

Maybe it's from all this candy. =P

The weather has been back to beautiful fall weather, but most of the pretty leaves are gone now.  The mornings are much cooler and Ella and Britton get a little stir crazy when the mornings are too cold to go out and play. ☺
Ella definitely seems to be taking it pretty hard the days that Cary is out of town for work. Not sure what we need to do about that, but her behavior has been completely different the days he is gone (and not in a good way!)

24 Weeks

I had an appointment last week, everything seems to be going well. (We're monitoring me a little bit more closely this pregnancy for placenta issues) No issues with heartburn or anything like that yet. (so grateful!)
I pretty much can't pick up Aidan or Ella anymore, and I probably shouldn't carry Britton too much, but he has his own ideas about that. ☺
It's starting to get kind of interesting around here the two days a week that Cary is out of town.

 Have to include a picture of one of the kids joining me in the photo. ☺
