Part of our daily routine is after naptime in the afternoon around 3:00, we go outside and eat snack. This is the time when the school kids are outside for P.E. and my kids like to watch, or participate. ☺ The end of the first quarter is coming up at the end of this week so the school kids won't have P.E. anymore until the 4th quarter and Ella and Britton are going to be very sad.
I'm glad I took some pictures yesterday since today was windy and kind of blew off all the leaves. :(
Ella was practicing her ball dribbling skills.

Saturday Afternoon
This Sabbath afternoon was neither restful or relaxing and so by 3:00 in the afternoon we kicked everybody outside for snack time (including ourselves).
Grandpa was out sweeping off his sidewalks. As far back as I can remember Grandma or Grandpa swept off their sidewalk every day, a habit I wish I would pick up. It was a really pretty day.
A little monster.
Cary was out making inspections...and unfortunately found that we have a water leak, so he knows what he'll be doing all day Sunday.
One of our water shut offs is right here on the side of the house and it's leaking, so under our house is wet too. Boo.
(Cary was trying to vacuum up water before he figured out what the problem was)
Britton is always ever so helpful
Plugging his ears when the vacuum was on. ☺

Fall
Ugh, I've not been sleeping well at nights, and then I'm exhausted, tired, and really light-headed during the morning so my motivation to do anything is at an all time low. Which stinks because I'd really like to get some work in the yard done (or the house!). This is what our barley/ corn field our lawn is looking like right now. ☺ It's coming up slowly. Teresa's lawn is coming up so fast and green compared to ours, but her yard is in the sun all day, and ours really doesn't get much sun, especially in the front yard. That will be nice in the Summer, but it's not so good for seeds that are trying to germinate. ☺
Britton really doesn't care that he's not supposed to walk across there.
He's got apples to transport.
How do I get the rest of the apples from up there?
"Mom, can I go to the playground?"
Ella and Aidan really don't want to let Summer go, so they both insist on wearing shorts (or skirts in Ella's case) and Ella still wants to wear flip flops.

Review
About a month ago, Boeing finally got their act together ;) and got Cary a laptop so he's able to work from home. He still has to go in and work for two days, but now he can work from home too, so that's a huge blessing.
Good thing for him our kids aren't distracting. ☺
The trees in our front yard are sure looking pretty right now.
Ella was complaining for a couple of days that her ear hurt, and then last night we could tell she really was in pain so we have her on antibiotics and she felt better almost immediately.
Last night I had Britton bathed, dressed in pjs and all ready for bed. Then he decided he'd join Ella for her bath while I was helping Aidan (for just a minute!) with his homework.
Very helpful Britton, very helpful...
THEN this morning I found him doing this. ☺ If I don't latch the dishwasher, he pulls the door down and helps himself.
