Abby's Bridals

Sharon and I met up with Abby to take some Bridal shots, Thursday night. Thank goodness I was just a back up shooter. ;) Sharon did a fabulous job and it was just fun to get out and take pictures!

Hanging out with Uncle Shawn

I'm still recovering from the long, busy, but lots of fun, wedding weekend. We didn't get much of a rest with Cary going back to work and Aidan starting summer school on Monday morning. It's taking Ella and Britton a couple more days to figure their sleep situation out, and that's been fun at night, let me tell ya.

 Shawn stopped out here on his way up to SLC for Abby's wedding, and Aidan and Ella were SO excited to see him. Not really sure why....;)

 Ella hasn't quite got the coordination down for pedaling her bike, so Aidan has kind of taken over.

 Britton was so filthy dirty that night, I cringe just looking at these pictures.

 Who doesn't like a bit of dirt in their hair and mud in their mouth?

Baby Shower for Elizabeth

Margo threw a little baby shower for Elizabeth, who had baby Avery last month.

I wasn't going to take any pictures, and I didn't for almost the entire time, but at some point I couldn't help myself, so I only took a few. ☺

Breaking Out the Swimming Pool

It's getting hot enough that the kids are starting to gravitate towards water at any given moment. Britton will go find a sprinkler to run through or his favorite is finding a seeping sprinkler and soak himself. Aidan was off playing with Asya somewhere, so I pulled out the pool for Ella and Britton and let them have at it.

Of course, our yard still looks like this:

So, we've been using my grandpa's lawn and I'm not really sure how he feels about that. ☺

As for our yard...we're working on it. Slowly.

Birthday Girl!

Ella's birthday isn't until Saturday, June 23rd, but we kind of have other stuff going on that day (and the weekend!). ☺

We decided to go ahead and give her, her birthday present early.

She's been asking for a purple bike, and a pink bike, so she got a purple and pink bike.

She still hasn't gotten down the whole pedaling thing, but we're working on it with her. She likes people to push her around on it though, or Aidan rides it.
