Britton Turns ONE!

For Britton's birthday, I made him a barn out of graham crackers and had some farm animal cupcakes. They are supposed to be sheep, cows, and chicks. Heh. I'm so good at planning lately that I hadn't gotten the candy needed and when you live 90 miles from the nearest grocery store, that's kind of a problem. Kenneth helped me out though by supplying the M&M's and Skittles, I was going to do chocolate chip eyes, but that looked kind of creepy. Thanks Ken! (Mmmm, I want some M&M's and Skittles)
I had invited our families and the grandparents. My uncle Wayne came too since he was out visiting and working in the orchard.
The cupcakes were definitely a hit with the kids!
Sharon took most of these pictures...☺

Hodge Podge

We kicked off the week with Britton turning ONE! (still working on the pictures from the birthday party) Lots of friends and family visited this week and I managed to not take a single picture. The high school put on "My Fair Lady" and I'm still working on those pictures too. ☺

It was so cold and windy today, but Britton wanted to play outside so bad he didn't care that his hands and face were freeezing!
Britton hit his head above his left eye today and now he has quite the goose egg. Can't see it very well in these photos.

More about the Baby Goats =)

Janille offered to take Aidan and Ella for a night, and Cary was gone, so it was just me and Britton.
That was nice...and weird.
I'd say somewhat quiet, but Britton is not so quiet anymore. ;) It was definitely more peaceful though.
Thanks Janille!
So we went over to her house later to pick up the kids and see the goat kids too.

Cheryl, the momma goat, isn't quite accepting these adopted kids yet. She'll nurse them though if someone is giving her attention.
