So far...

Well, it's been 6 months since we moved from Salt Lake to Petra/ EskDale, and it's all been going well. I have to say that I thought I'd miss eating out more than I have, but I'm definitely having shopping withdrawls. It's been two months since I've really been able to go shopping and I'm REALLY wanting to go. Don't get me wrong, it's not like I'm lacking anything, thanks to online shopping. (Hello, Amazon!) I just really want to walk through a store and look at stuff. (Cary's nightmare) ☺
Anyway, we've been in our new (to us) house now for a month and I'm loving it. Even in our unsettled, unorganized, messy and unfinished state.
We still don't have our furnace hooked up, but we're still comfy and cozy.
Here are some pictures of our current situation.

Like my nightstand? ☺ I'm waiting till I find a new dresser/nightstand that I like. The laundry is a nice touch too.

The green bathroom aka the master bathroom

kids bedroom - supposed to be the boys room, but Ella still insists on sleeping in Aidan's bed. (for half of the night anyway)

Cary was working on putting shelves in when I took this picture.

Main bath

Ella's room - I don't like the curtains already, so those will be changed at some point.

My curtains need to be hemmed, hence the reason they are all tossed up.

We just installed this cabinet next to the washer and dryer. Love it!

Back entry waiting for some love. In due time, in due time.

What to do though, that's the question.

There you have it, until the next update. ☺

This Week

Ella and I (and the kitty) out enjoying a beautiful Fall day.

Aidan took this picture. ☺

Kayli reading bedtime stories to the kids.

Walking to school on a cold morning

a little while later...

Britton likes riding the pony.

Britton @ 8 Months

I'm a little behind, but better late than never, eh? ☺
Ah, pretty Britty.
Eight months old already.
-You are crawling around everywhere.
-You're also trying to pull yourself up onto things and of course you don't do it on the soft carpet, you pick areas on the tile and give your poor mother small heart attacks.
-You love, LOVE, love the vintage walker that we put you in over at the dining hall. It allows you to get where you want to go quickly, and get into stuff you shouldn't. (like potted plants and garbage cans)
- You FINALLY have popped a tooth and soon to have another. After months of thinking it was going to happen much earlier since you drool so much...which brings me to the nex thing.
-You have a river of drool flowing out of your mouth. Constantly.
-You are a very happy boy, as long as you've been fed, napped, and someone pays attention to you. ☺
-You say "mama", atleast that's what your mama says.
-He likes hanging out under the table when the older two are eating because he knows there will be all sorts of goodies that are falling onto the floor.
-He likes to make "tractor noises".
