Enjoying Fall

With the weather as awesome as it has been this Fall, we've been spending a lot of time outdoors while we can.

Hanging out with friends.

Yes, I have lots of pictures of Britton, but he's the only one not fast enough to get away from me.

Cary was helping with farm work when they were harvesting Corn. He let Aidan ride in the truck with him a few times and Aidan loved it since he's really into big trucks and big equipment right now.

Greg built our porch/ step in the back and it looks really nice. I was kind of getting worried that we would be living with a plywood step forever. ;)

We've gone on lots of walks to look at the pretty trees.

I love this boy.

We Moved! (again)

We weren't going to rush it since we wanted everything to be done before moving in, but after we got the hot water going in the "new" house and after a couple of rough days when Cary was gone, when he got back, I said "This is the last night I'm spending here at Petra. We're moving tomorrow!
So we started moving October 5.
It's October 25 and we still don't have everything moved and the furnace is not hooked up (so no heat or A/C) but this house is very well insulated, so we have a little space heater that's doing the job (and a backup if necessary.
Between Cary working in SLC/ Layton and then helping with the corn harvesting, we've not gotten much done. They just finished with corn yesterday though, so maybe after Cary gets back from working in SLC this week, we'll finally be able to get more done on our house.
Or not.
I much prefer this chaos though, than the other chaos we were living.

Rosh Kodesh (and eve of Yom Teruah), Picnic and Fall Color in the Mountains.

That time of year again when we kick off the Fall Feasts with looking for the new moon up on Black Mountain. Later that week we went to GBNP for a picnic and to see the pretty fall colors up on the mountain.
