Four! (Aidan)

Aidan's birthday was on Wednesday and I'm now the mother of a 4 yr old.
Yikes!
Aidan kind of got jipped the past couple of years on birthday parties so I knew I was going to have to do something for him this year, especially since he's more aware of what is going on. He specifically requested a "race car" party with pizza.
Of course, in the middle of getting ready I start to wonder why I think I put together a party when 3  4  5 people need me. ☺(Ella was sick that day too)
Thankfully, Sharon and Breanna stepped in and took over blowing up balloons, Sharon made the pizza, Breanna decorated the cupcakes, and Cary finished decorating the car cake. (Who knew he possesed this secret talent?! I'll have to tap into that more often. ☺)
It all turned out, and Aidan got lots of tool toys which he loves, and so does Ella.

My Cute Family (again)

I'm up waiting for Cary to get home and the internet is actually letting me upload photos, so I'm on a blogging roll. Whoowhee!
These are just some pictures I took the other day and looking at them again makes me want to have another baby, ok, NOT really. ☺
Speaking of babies, we just found out that a friend of ours is expecting again, and Cary has been gone to SLC for a couple of days, so I was excited to tell him about it when he called today.
Me - "Guess who's pregnant?"
Him - You've GOT TO BE KIDDING ME?!?
It took me a second to realize that he thought I was talking about myself.
I started laughing..."NOT ME! NOT ME"
It was hilarious and I think I about gave him a heart attack.

Aidan has been begging me to let him take pictures with my camera since his camera isn't working, so today I finally let him. It's kind of scary since my camera is bigger and heavier, but he actually did a pretty good job. I deleted all the photos of the tv, laptop and hideous photos of me. ☺
So all the photos below are ones he took.

I look old and ugly, but I love these because I was holding both babies.

A bunch of us are doing a 30 day photo challenge on Facebook/ Pinterest and this was my self portrait for the day.

Shower

A wedding shower, not to be confused with all the rain showers we've been getting around here.
My cousin Danika is getting married next month.
(by the way, Sharon and I counted and we have over 60 cousins, and Malcolm hasn't even started having kids yet. Muahahaha!)
My first "real" job was babysitting Danika for a summer, when I was like 11. So this is kind of surreal for me.☺
Does this mean I'm officially entering the old people twilight zone?
Sharon and her big A** lens. (I'm just jealous)

I know that Beth is going to love this picture.

Ooooh, poopsy woopsy, cutesy wootsy.

95

"Grandpa Bob" turned 95 on August 5.
My Aunt and Uncle, Dean and Linda were here to visit so they took Grandpa for a little ride up to the park to drive up the mountain, and stop for some ice cream. While they were gone, a bunch of us raided Grandpa's house and spring (late summer?) cleaned.
Chandra, mom, Sharon, Breanna, Kara, Jenna and myself scoured walls, windows, floors, etc... and got that place sparkling in just a few short hours. Grandpa doesn't remember that he hasn't cleaned (and he's 95, so it's not like we expect him to do it!) and he won't let anyone else do it either so this was the only way to get it done.
We were a little worried that he would notice and be mad, but apparently his response when he got back inside was "It feels really nice in here". ☺
Later that evening we had a little party for him.
