Faber Fun

This past weekend the Faber family were all in one place.

It doesn't happen very often. ☺

It was a nice day so we headed to check out some scenery at Silver creek and Strawberry creek.

This picture of Shawn admiring his "farmer's tan" is the only one I got at Silver creek because Aidan and Ella fell asleep in the car, and Britton had a blowout so I was trying to figure out how to clean that up without the wipes that Cary left at EskDale. (Nope, not bitter) ☺

Next stop: Strawberry creek

The campsites there are brand new and we thought we better christen this one with a fire. So Chris was out picking up sticks and Ella decided to help.

C.H.A.O.S.

If you're familiar with Fly Lady, then you know that CHAOS stands for Can't Have Anyone Over Syndrome.

That currently describes my house.

Still.

 Even though we've been here for over a month now.

I do have plans to eventually take photos though, since I know some people are DYING to know what the round house looks like inside.

But for now, I'll spare you the gory messy details. 

Today was Aidan and Ella's last day of school.

They really enjoyed going this last month and I really enjoyed them going too. ☺

Ella thought she was Wonder Woman yesterday at school and fell off some steps and banged her head up pretty good, luckily she seems to be okay and is now back to getting into trouble.

In other noteworthy news...Britton slept from 10:00-5:30 AM the other night.

Woot, woot.

It hasn't happened again, but every once awhile is nice.

Hit The Ground Running

Man, there has been a lot going on. (The only reason I remember to use "a lot" instead of "alot", which is what I normally would do, is because of this post. Read it and enjoy.)

Last Thursday was graduation, and today there was an open house in honor of Karma's 80th birthday.

Sadly, I didn't get pictures from either event.

In case you missed it, I have 3 kids now, which means that Cary and I are outnumbered 3 to 2, except that we have Ella, so it's more like 4 to 2.

All that to say, sometimes it's impossible to take pictures.

It snowed today.

How awesome is that?

I did get pictures of Tiffany and Amber's meet and greet yesterday.

(but I also only had one munchkin with me)

For those of you that asked about the cookie recipe, it's now on my cooking blog.

Yep, you read that right, I posted on my cooking blog.

Many moons have passed...

I even have plans to update my other blog as well.

It's a good day in blog land.

(Or I have something else I should be doing, so I'm updating all my blogs. You know how it goes.)

Also, I ate chocolate earlier today and my baby is not a happy camper so he's snuggled on my chest and that's the only way he is wanting to sleep right now.

I think that I could have titled this

"How many links can you stuff into one blog post?"

3 Months Old! (Britton)

Britton is 3 months old!

Weighing in at 14 lbs 8 oz, he's a skinny boy.

Britton is now becoming quite alert and likes constant attention when awake.

Now that he's getting bigger and watching people, Aidan and Ella are more interested in him. They like to hold him and give him kisses. Aidan will hold him and say "Mom, he's SO cute! :)
