Seder 2011

Tonight starts the Feast of Unleavened Bread (Pesach)
Here in SLC, we had our Seder the other night. It's really hard for me to get around and take pictures, so I only have a couple.
There are 4 groups currently using the Wasatch Branch building and all were invited to the Seder, so we actually ended up with a pretty good group. There is a Vietnamese group using the building and they had quite a few people that came.

The Woodwards were there and when I walked past Daria to take this picture she stopped me to say hi.
Daria "So which baby over there is yours? (Pointing to the table where we were sitting)
Me "At that table, all three are mine"
Daria "REALLY? Did you have twins?"
Me "Um, no..., but I have 3 under 3.
(which isn't really correct, I guess, it's age 3 and under)
Sigh.

Aidan and Ella greatly anticipated when they could drink the juice.

It was a fun night, Aidan and Ella got lots of attention and made some new friends.

Missing

I've been neglecting to take the day-to-day pictures of my kids.
I caught Ella during her nap the other day cuddling with her puppy and bunny.
Lately, she sleeps on top of the pillow all huddled up in the corner of the crib.
She saw this picture and is now pulling on my arm and telling me,
"C'mon!"
"Bunny!"

Smiles (sort of)

He's growing so fast!

Kenneth and Sharon came into SLC the other day to finish preparations for the upcoming Seder and Pesach feast.
They stopped by for a minute to visit and Kenneth was getting Britton to smile, so Sharon took some pictures for me.

The other two kids looking very sober.

Really

I want to update, I really do. Everytime I'm at the computer I'm usually holding a baby. Holding a baby + computer = hard to write/ type.

We're moving at the end of the month, so needless to say, things are even more crazy than normal around here. I have a hard enough time keeping up with day to day stuff right now (which is to say that I'm not keeping up at all), so trying to pack and clean is....interesting.
Say for example, I'm going through papers and shredding them. I empty the "loads" of shredded paper into a garbage bag and go back to shredding more stuff, only to turn around and see my two monsters, I mean children, throwing the shredded paper into the air like confetti. But lets not stop there, Ella sees that now I'm paying attention and not happy with what they are doing, so she takes it a step further and starts running around the house spreading the love (paper) around. There's only so much "help" a person can take. By the way, shredded paper is not that easy to vacuum up.
Unfortunately, these instances aren't exclusive to paper incidents. Scattering my nicely folded laundry, emptying out my rag drawer, and ziploc bag drawer are favorites too. So..........here's hoping we all make it through. ☺

Back to moving. No, our house isn't done. Not even close! We're moving to Petra temporarily and hoping it's a short temporary, but not crossing our fingers. ☺
