38 weeks

Definitely got the pregnancy face going on now.
Had my appointment yesterday and so far no dilation and the baby's head is high. (although it sure doesn't feel that way!) ☺
This is how it was with Ella, so settle in for the long haul. ;o)
I definitely seem to be more hormonal with the boys than I was with Ella, so watch out!

How cute is this?

My sister, Sharon, made this quilt for the baby.
I think it's adorable and I love the colors!

Full Term, Baby!

37 weeks!
(and yes, I pretty much wear that sweater everyday!)

In case you're confused... 37 weeks is considered full term, but your actual due date is at 40 weeks. So really, it's a you can "go at anytime" but the closer to your due date is obviously preferable.
It's just nice for me to have 2 full term babies on my chart!
I keep getting told that I look like I'm not going to make it to my due date, but that's what they said with Ella too. (She was born the day after my due date)
I'm getting lots of "you look miserable" and "twins?" comments.
Thank you.
I had an appointment today and it was very uneventful, which is what we like. ☺
No blood pressure problems or anything like that, however, I do now weigh the most I've ever weighed in my life.
Yay, I sure am looking forward to having to lose that.
Pllllh.

Have I mentioned...

...that Ella is exhausting?!?

When I was mopping the kitchen floor last week, I had the rug in the hall and Ella apparently thought it was a nice blanket.
It seemed to be a great game to pull it on top of herself and then get out.
Disgusting?
Maybe.
Whatever keeps them occupied, I say. ☺

Hugs ARE fun!

A very over exposed photo of my children hugging.
It happened so fast.

One of those moments where you go "Awwww.......

they really do love each other."

Or maybe not.

Uncle Ken

Yesterday I spent the day looking at tile all over the city of SLC with Kenneth, and
we had a jolly good time drooling over tile selections way beyond our budgets. (Although, I'm not sure I'll forgive him for showing me that tile world beyond Home Depot and Lowes, etc...) ;o)
Then he had to come back in today, so we got to spend a little bit more time with him.
Hope you make it home safely tonight, Ken!
Here he is reading to my kids last weekend.
They are excessively fond of their uncles, aunts, grandparents, and cousins. ☺
(and pretty much everyone)
BUT, if you'll read to them, they will really love you.

36 Weeks

Whew!
There was a minute or two last night I thought that we were going to have to head to the hospital.
I was having so many contractions and they were getting painful enough that I wasn't able to sleep.
Around 2:00 AM, I got into the tub and took a 2 hour bath and drank lots of water and the contractions went away.
Not quite ready for this baby to be showing up! ☺
The sciatic nerve pain has just been AWESOME the past week or so, I really could do without that...
