Saying Goodbye

Just a few shots from yesterday at Sabbath services. We stayed in SLC this weekend so that we could say good-bye to Dan and Melanie and family. They are moving out of the state this week, so this was Dan's last time taking church.
I didn't remember to take very many pictures though.

32 weeks 4 days...again

Can't help but think about this being how far along I was when Aidan was born.

I was doing pretty good until this last week and then the sciatic nerve pain kicked in and I have all these cleaning and organizing urges.
So I clean and organize and then once I sit down or lay down, then I can't move.
 It's a vicious cycle. ☺
The other night was so bad because I had insomnia, my back hurt so I couldn't move, and then my hips felt like an elephant was sitting on them.
I woke up the next morning and ordered a 4" memory foam mattress topper.
We'll see if it helps. LOL.
I start to wonder how I'm going to last the rest of the pregnancy, but that's over-run with panic attacks about how little time I actually have left! ;o)
Gee, do I sound like a pregnant lady yet?

Memorial

As I mentioned before, my Uncle Tim was out at EskDale last week to install Grandma's headstone and the memorial bench for my Grandparent's.
A lot of people helped Tim out, John Hansen came over and helped Tim dig holes the second time. (Tim dug the holes in the wrong spot the first time because my dad gave him bad info. Heh.)
Have I mentioned there was 2 feet of snow on the ground and the temperature didn't get above 15 degrees that week? Some days not even getting warmer than 5 degrees and dropping down to -20.
Cary and Kenneth helped Tim with mixing concrete, pouring and everything else.
After the headstone and bench were in place, Tim wanted to show Grandpa the finished product so a bunch of us went down to see it too.
It looks really nice!

My uncle Tim was out visiting and working on putting in my grandma's headstone down at the cemetery. Kenneth and Cary were helping him, and in their spare time they worked on Kenneth's house and our house.

Ken finally got his kitchen window installed.

and Gerry was installing doors

Happy New Year!

Another year has gone by.
Wow.
It was my turn to stay with the kids since Cary missed out on all the funtivites last year, so I only got a few pictures before going back to the house.
I did stay up for the fireworks, but at that point it was already -15 outside, so I just watched from the window and didn't take any pictures.

Around here, we're bringing in the new year with some nice cold temps and we still have a good foot of snow on the ground.  (Last night the low was -20)

I'm ready for some warmer weather already! ☺

Conrad Party

I'm hitting that point where I lack the energy to take the amount of pictures I'm used to taking.
So I don't have variety or very many shots, but here are a few from our Conrad party.

Ella likes her kitchen set.
Maybe now she'll play with hers and stop emptying out my kitchen drawers!

Aidan really liked Kara's new art set.

A nice shot of Sharon scratching her nose. Heh.

Aidan really dislikes being the center of attention, so we let him open his gift off where there weren't very many people looking. ☺

Winter Wonderland

We're on vacation, and Snake Valley has way too much snow...and by that I mean, it has snow.
I'm a party pooper when it comes to snow, especially right now. ☺
I'm wishing, however, that I would have had the foresight to buy the kids boots and bring them, because they would probably like to stay somewhat warm and dry after tromping through the snow.

Back at Grandma's house after a long day of playing.
