House Update #8 ☺

Ryan and Cary worked really hard on Sunday and accomplished a lot.
It was nice to have a good day of progress to boost my flagging spirits. ☺
Jerald and Ron even came over and helped a bit.
(Gerry was there too, prepping to install windows)

Yay! Windows!
I think Gerry was as excited to install the windows, as I was for him too.

Mom and Kenneth came over and started our trench for the internet line.

Then, Ryan and Ron started taking out trees in the backyard to make room for the shed.

We even put our kids to work. ☺
All in all, a good day.
We're thankful for everyone that came over and helped!

Lord,

grant me patience...
but HURRY!

We really need it when dealing with this cute, busy, girl.

My kids are looking so grown up.

Random...

I turned 30 last Saturday

It still feels weird to even say that. ☺

We finally were home tonight long enough to light our candles for Hanukkah.
Crystal and Kenneth were in town for the day, so we hung out with them for awhile, and then Tara joined us at our house for supper.
(and I didn't take any pictures, which will make them happy)
Later that night we let the kids open a couple of gifts.
(which I also managed to not take photos of)

And last, but not least, a very unflattering angle of me at 28 weeks.

Hanukkah Party

We had a Hanukkah party last weekend, complete with fried chicken, latkes, and doughnuts!
After we ate, we lit the menorah, played games and ate lots of candy. ☺

Another Sunset

Last night's sunset.
(We were just outside of Rush Valley)
I'm so GLAD that this weekend is much warmer than last week/ weekend.

The kids have been so happy to get outside and run around.

Snow

We'd been pretty lucky with a mild winter (late fall) so far, until last week.
Then it snowed and froze.
Last week, while at EskDale, the kids really wanted to go outside, but it wasn't even hitting 20 degrees that day so we had to break out the hats and bulky coats.

Since the kids are picky about their clothing, like their mother, this didn't go over well.
Aidan refused to even wear the hat and both suffered through wearing the coats.

Needless to say, it was too cold so we didn't last outside for very long.

When we got back to SLC, there was way too much snow on the ground.
We finally let the kids go out and play in it, sans gloves, since they wouldn't wear them at first.

Brrr....

The snow and cold are totally bumming me out this year, I think it's because it's messing up our construction plans. ☺
It's all about me...
