Halfway!

So as of Sunday, I passed the halfway mark of this pregnancy.
Woot.

I'm having a really hard time getting motivated to shots of myself.
Photos give you the accurate look at just WHERE all that weight that I'm gaining is going...and it's not my stomach.
Another area I've been procrastinating....
Aidan has needed a hair cut for quite some time.
I finally gave him one last night and he handled it quite well, but I made sure it didn't last very long either.
Looking so handsome!

Family Photos

So a few weekends ago when we went up the mountain to see the fall color, we decided that it would be a great time for Sharon to take some family photos of us.
Yeah, the cooperation wasn't really high among the family, but Sharon got some good shots anyway! These are all stolen from her blog.
Thanks Sharon! ☺

It's a...

BOY!

I had an appointment today. All is looking well, although they couldn't get a good view of the left side of his heart so I have to go in for another ultrasound in 4 weeks.

Tired

I think this pretty much sums up the last couple of days.

*Sigh*

I knew remodeling the house was going to take a lot of work and be stressful, I just didn't know all the drama that was going to accompany it and how emotionally draining it would be.
It's not really helping that I've further complicated things and now we sort of have deadlines we'd like to meet and all that. ☺
I have to try really hard not to worry about the fact that I have a baby due, the end of a lease looming all in the same month, and a house that may not be done in time.
Anyway, some of the conflict has been resolved (for now, until the next one crops up) and work has begun again.
All but 3 or 4 windows have been framed.

Most of the walls are up and nailed in. I think that this closet near the back door still needs to be nailed in, and the master bathroom still has to be re framed. (we changed the plans).

Bedroom #1, with the new window framed in.
(for those that know how this house used to look, this where the bathroom/ kitchen were.)
The window on the right side of the picture, where the closet and bathroom are, will be boarded up.

Master bedroom with the closets up and window re framed.

The front door has been moved, window has been moved and re sized.

Fall Colors!

I've been wanting to drive up in the mountains to look at the fall color, but we just haven't made it up into the mountains around here, and I'm afraid we've missed the colorful trees on most of the mountains.
Last week, my cousin Jenny, posted about seeing pretty fall color in Great Basin National Park, so I was inspired to go there while we were out in the valley for the weekend.
Our weekends are usually pretty stacked, but we made room for the pretty drive.
Of course it was raining and we were trying to beat the sun going down.
It was definitely the tailend though as all the leaves have probably fallen off now, it was still pretty but definitely not the vibrant colors that Jenny got photos of.

18 weeks-ish

It's always *interesting* to see what havic pregnancy hormones are going to wreak on your body.
So far nothing totally out of normal.
I do tend to tear up during tv shows and my hair is getting curlier this time. (which is kind of annoying)
With Aidan and Ella my hair went straighter.
Morning sickness passed by very quickly this time so that was really nice.
I'm back to wanting Cafe Rio all the time and now Aidan asks to go there all the time too. (yes!)
I guess it's time to grace my blog with pictures of myself. ☺
