Thanksgiving Dinner

Here are some pictures of our Thanksgiving dinner....of course, as always, my focus is on how we decorated. :o)
Kenneth, Sharon, and I did a LOT of work and we were pretty dang pleased with how it turned out. We usually have a "Thanksgiving tree" where people write what they are thankful for on the "leaves" and hang it on the tree. We had about 70 people to the dinner and a good time was had by all.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hope everyone is having or had a great Thanksgiving day.
Some scenes of people making pies and working on other various parts of Thanksgiving meal preparations.

We ended up with 40 pies. Pumpkin, Apple, Pecan, Lemon, Banana Cream, Coconut Cream, Strawberry -Rhubarb, and Triple Berry. I think I named them all.
On Thanksgiving day we start out with a brunch at 10:30 AM, and then we get back together for the dinner at 5:30 PM.
Here are a couple of pictures from that and I'll have to post dinner pictures later.

What we're up to...

Watching people move Teresa into her new house

Visiting, Cash, the horse.

Brining 80+ lbs of turkey plus all the other stuff we're doing to get ready for Turkey day tomorrow.

Reminiscing all those batches of ice cream I made with this ice cream machine before its final death in the Spring of '07. I was making a batch of mint chocolate chip when it took its last breath (or started smoking up, details, details). That was a sad day, although I would have been even more sad if I knew that it really would be its last batch. Maybe someone will fix you eventually, old friend.

Playing with Aidan's new best friend, not counting the new friends he made at school this week.

I can't even begin to tell you how happy I we will be to see Cary tonight! :o)

My little peanut is 5 months old.

She's just my happy smiley girl and she's just a lot of fun right now.

We're out visiting family right now and preparing for Thanksgiving holiday.

Cary will join us later tomorrow

I'm a little worried at the moment. Grandpa Bob took off in his van today and said he was leaving for a town that's about an hour and a half away from here. He's 93 and hasn't driven anywhere other than around E-Dale for over a year, so we're all a little worried. Hopefully he makes it there and back. Eeek. We didn't really know how to stop him though. :-(
