Dinner with Friends

I'm pretty sure I'm losing my mind. I remembered at 5:30 this morning that I had a doctors appointment later on, guess it's a good thing I remembered BEFORE and not after. I wasn't too happy about it since they were saying we were supposed to be in the middle of a blizzard. Luckily those weather guys can be wrong and Aidan and I only had to drive in a little sprinkle.

Last night we invited Dan, Melanie (and kids), Jesse, Chris, and Nick over for dinner.

We ate lasagna, garlic bread, and 4-layer delight. Yum.

Afterwards everyone sat back and relaxed.

The movie Eight Below (love that movie!) was playing on TV so everyone got into the movie and we all laughed and cried together.

At the Park.

Well, the weather was slightly above freezing and the snow has mostly melted, so we decided to brave the park.

We met up with Dan, Melanie, Ethan, and Sam.

It was actually REALLY cold since the sun kept hiding behind the clouds, but the boys didn't seem to mind.

Aidan kept wanting to eat the woodchips.

When the sun came out it actually was somewhat bearable.

Even Sam was braving the cold weather, wearing his sunglasses. :-)

New Stroller

In preparation for the new baby we bought a double stroller.

Aidan was very excited about helping put it together.

Cary took him outside for a test ride.

He looks pretty thrilled. :-) Who am I kidding? I'M the one excited about the stroller!

Since I'm subjecting myself to the weekly torture I figure I might as well as inflict the pain on someone else while I'm at it.

Trust me when I say that leaving my head in the picture didn't add anything positive. Some things are better left unsaid....err... not shown.

I want to blame it on the angle that the picture was taken from, I like that excuse.

I guess I'll let it work for me this week.

Ahhh....it's halfway through the week.
Aidan and I had to run to the store today so I could grab a few groceries. I didn't grab a cart since I thought I'd only be getting a couple of things. BIG mistake! Aidan was running ALL over the store, I ended up grabbing a few more things than I thought so I was trying to carry everything, grab Aidan and herd him through the store which wasn't working so I had to try and carry him too. Fun times. Won't be making that mistake again. I had to go home, take some Tylenol and relax to keep the contractions at bay. :-)

I don't know what to do with that hair. :-)

I'm not very impressed with how much colder it is here in SLC than it was down south. I'm ready for Spring! What did the groundhog see today?

Shawn, we were bummed to hear that you won't be able to come back to the states in a few weeks. :( We'll try to take pictures and video so you don't miss out on too much.
